In Network Insurance:​

Heather Luevano MFT Coastal Family Therapy is now contracted with many major behavioral health insurance plans. To check if your insurance is currently accepted, please see the box on the right of this page.  Even if your insurance is accepted, there is a wide variation in coverage from plan to plan so all insurances must be verified prior to confirming your initial appointment.  Fees can be paid through in-network insurance coverage, out of network insurance coverage or through self pay. Insurance benefits must be confirmed prior to your initial appointment.

​Out of Network Insurance:

 

Services may be covered by your health insurance as an Out of Network provider. Services may also be covered by an employee benefit plan. If your insurance is not currently on the list above, I will provide you with the necessary invoice that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement as an Out of Network provider. Many insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the fee after you have met your deductible.  

 

Cash/No Insurance:

The standard cash fee for a 50-minute session is $140. If you do not have insurance but still wish to schedule an appointment, you may be eligible for a sliding-scale fee adjustment based on your income. Fee reductions are offered on a limited basis.

Cancellation Policy:

 

Due to limited availability, all cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If a cancellation is not received or an appointment is missed, a $75 fee will be charged to your account.
